Joan’s journey to develop her career in real estate started in the real estate appraisal market. As an entrepreneur who founded and grew her appraisal business to be one of the largest in the mid-Atlantic area. As an expert in the housing finance sector, she has testified twice before the US Congress on the hill. Today, as an expert in real estate valuation, she expertly guides her buyers and sellers through the complex, and detailed oriented maze of
real estate transactions.
Joan was born and raised on the eastern shore of Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University, and ultimately relocated to Sarasota from Ocean City, MD. She landed in her new home on Bird Key and loves it! Yes, island life suits her, staying busy outside of working kayaking the intercoastal and creeks on our beautiful bays.
